    With many Chinese consumers purchasing goods online from foreign countries, “Haitao”, or cross-border online shopping appears to be gaining more and more popularity in China recently.
    Many facts have contributed to this new trend. To begin with, cross-border online shopping is actually not difficult as long as you can understand English and have a credit card. Secondly, imported goods are generally expensive in China so buying them directly from overseas can save shoppers a lot of money.
    As far as I am concerned, Cross-border online shopping is good because it brings more convenience to people. But at the same time, we also shouldn’t ignore the risks such as being cheated or the goods bought being damaged during shipment.
